I'm a PhD candidate of literature and media at UC Santa Barbara's Department of English. My research deals with temporariness in global cities. I'm currently the Graduate Fellow for UCSB's American Cultures and Global Contexts Center, and am affiliated with the Transcriptions Center, the Asian American Studies Department, and the UC Transliteracies Project, primarily with its Research-oriented Social Environment. In addition, I'm an active member and researcher of the CouchSurfing Project (www.couchsurfing.org).
