Digital Media and Learning Winners' Showcase, April 16 & 17
This short video was made February 2008, after the first winners of theDigital Media and Learning Competition was announced. These winnerswill be showcasing their work at a concert at Newberry Library April 16and a Showcase with panel discussions and an interactive expo on April17 at the Palmer House, both in Chicago. New winners for this year'scompetition will be announced at the Showcase and perhaps among thevisitors will be some of next year's winners, too. We hope so! An Evening with the Princeton Laptop Orchestra (PLOrk)
A Digital Media and Learning Competition winner, PLOrk is a visionary musical ensemble of laptopists that in its short lifetime has performed at Carnegie Hall and inspired similar orchestras from Oslo toBangkok.
