Fraser Delgado's Blog

Celeste Fraser Delgado is an associate professor of English at Barry University, specializing in U.S. Latino and Caribbean music and performance. She is the director of Carnival Arts, a program where artists teach youth in crisis shelters the traditional dance, drumming, and mask-making traditions of Caribbean carnivals. She is also the editorial director of Artburstmiami.com, a media bureau that provides arts content to media partners across all platforms in South Florida and is a frequent contributor to WLRN-Miami Herald News radio. Delgado is currently earning a bachelor of music degree with a major in classical voice, and is a popular cabaret performer in Miami.
