David Shepard's picture

David Shepard is a graduate student in English currently at dissertation stage. He is the technical team lead on the Hypercities project (http://hypercities.com/). He is currently developing a new module for HyperCities that allows users to create maps of books, called "Geo-scribe," for which he and the HyperCities team received a Google Digital Humanities Award. His dissertation focuses on the history of humanities computing and its influence on literature.
