A talk by Arne R. Flaten, Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Art History

Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities & Fine Arts

Coastal Carolina University

This promises to be an interesting event, and quite relevant to making art history more accessible to students (and more than just memorizing slides).  I will be interested to see how the speaker has "moved beyond the cool" of the technology to make it a useful tool for both research and teaching.

I hope some of you can make it - I'd be interested to hear comments and ideas about how digital technologies are changing the way we think about, research, and teach art history.
