About Jeff Kolar
Jeff Kolar is an artist, writer, video, sound and interaction designer. Alternative art galleries, online art spaces, and experimental theatre venues have presented Kolar’s interdisciplinary sound and video works both nationally and internationally. A resident at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, a Brooks and HASTAC Scholar, researcher for the Public Policy and Advanced Communication Technology Laboratory (PACT Lab), and assistant editor for The Bear Deluxe Magazine, his work examines the poetics within information and communication technologies in the interest of society. He is currently a student in the New Media department and Informatics Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
