Jeremy Douglass is a founding member of Playpower, a HASTAC and MacArthur funded initiative bringing affordable, effective, fun learning games to the developing world using a $10 TV-computer as a platform. Douglass is a researcher in Software Studies at the University of California San Diego, in affiliation with Calit2, the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts, and Visual Arts. There he researches approaches to software using the analytic frameworks of the humanities and social sciences.
