Horizon Report on technology trends in education

The New Media Consortium and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative have released the 2009 Horizon Report which ?seeks to identify and describe emerging technologies likely to have a large impact on teaching, learning, research, or creative expression within learning-focused organizations.? The 2009 report identifies six technologies to watch: mobile devices, cloud computing, geo-tagging, the ?personal web,? ?semantic-aware applications,? and ?smart objects.?
