With all the serious writing about the Internet, Web 2.0, and user-created content, it's good to see some folks also recognizing that something with so much potential regularly produces laughable results. Laughable in the best possible way, in this case.

Citation Needed is a blog that catalogs examples of terrible prose from Wikipedia and other wikis. The brainchild of Comics Curmudgeon Josh Fruhlinger and Rifftrax writer Connor Lastowka, it sends several important messages. The most important? Just because you have online access doesn't mean you can write coherently.

Thanks for the link! So many blunders can happen online, and its interesting

to think of all the terrible prose that exists. And what form, genre, and industry

has to do with it. Reminds me of the "bad writing" award for academic writers:

(although, I dont necessarily agree with the recipients!)
