What The Hell Con

WTH Con is an all-out geekfest with some very interesting events. Webcomics are prominently featured, and game designers are regularly in attendance. Last year I met ARG designer Ken Eklund, and in previous years I've gotten to talk to creators for White Wolf games, and MST 3K's Mike Nelson, amongst others. The convention is small and intimate, admission is free, and a high female population amongst the attendees means less intimidation and less nerd funk as well.

In all seriousness, I hope folks can make it. It runs from Friday, 2/5, to Sunday, 2/7.

Get in touch with me, and maybe the HASTAC scholars in attendance can get together for drinks. I have a long association with the convention, so if they have a slot open, we might even be able to have a panel of our own and spread the gospel of HASTAC.
