Calling all creatives! Coming soon: A new look for HASTAC

HASTAC is in the process of redesigning our site and we will be unveiling a brand new look later this Fall/early Winter and we would love your help and input.

First step? Logo redesign!

In the spirit of HASTAC, web 2.0, and collaborative learning and networking, we have decided to use crowdsourcing site Crowdspring (http://www.crowdspring.com) to outsource our logo design.

Here's how it works: We post a creative brief outlining our project, theamount we are AWARDING, and the due date. Once our project has posted,creatives from all around the world work on our project and submit logodesigns (not proposals, not bids, but actual designs). As the entriescome in, we can review, sort, rate, give feedback and collaborate withcreatives until we find "the one". The larger Crowdspringcommunity can also weigh-in by ranking submissions.

It is free to register to the site and upload your logo designs. If anyHASTAC members have design ideas, we would love to see them. And definitely keep an eye out on our project post and give us your opinionsabout the designs that are being submitted and which ones you think capture the complex, cutting-edge HASTAC identity.
