As some of you may have seen, the gorgeous new duke.edu site was unveiled today.  Aside from the graphic design by Viget Labs, the entire redesign was done in-house here at Duke by the incredibly talented folks over at Duke Web Services (formerly Blackwell). Here at  HASTAC, of course, we are thrilled that the new site is built on Drupal (as is hastac.org) and by Duke's commitment to using an open source CMS.

Having recently undertaken the daunting project of HASTAC's website redesign (which, of course, we are still working on!), I can only begin to fathom the countless hours and sleepless nights Duke's website redesign must have entailed and have only the deepestadmiration for those that take on a project of this magnitude and pull it off so beautifully.  Hats off to everyone that worked on this project.  The new site is modern,  beautiful, dynamic and animated--a real reflection of all that Duke is and needs to portray to the world.

Well done and congratulations to the Duke website redesign team!

Congrat because of the site

Congrat because of the site launch. Drupal is really a great platform and most of my major project is using Drupal as the platform, besides some blog I use wordpress. Well done!
