Doodle. It may change your life.

I was recently introduced to the website doodle.com where you can set up a poll for scheduling purposes or simply schedule something. It's easy to use and has changed my work life: I regularly am charged with setting up meetings and have to find a date and time that works for many people.

Basically, you log in to the site, enter the possible dates and times for a meeting (or a dissertation defense or a piano recital--whatever event you need to schedule) and then you can choose between entering the email addresses of everyone you want to poll or copying a link Doodle provides into your own email program to send to everyone.

The recipients (or pollees) go to the website and mark which dates and times work for them and which don't. Easy peasy.
