LBP and Snow

Last week North Carolina was hit with more snow than we've seen in a few years.

This, of course, means school was canceled for most of the week. North Carolinians are not so adept at driving on inches of snow, and we don't have many snow plows! So one afternoon I brought my daughter and two friends to HASTAC, where they spent the entire afternoon playing LBP. They think I have the coolest job around! (They're right.) Check out the rapt attention and good times:

My wife's parents live in NC

My wife's parents live in NC and my sister's down in GA and they both tell me that if it snows, the entire area just shuts down.  I live up in Michigan and I just laugh hearing stories like that.  A few years ago, when I was down in NC for the Christmas holiday, they actually had snow while i was there and people pretty much refuse to even go to the grocery store even though a large number of them drive 4-wheel drive trucks.
