Willingham: Student "Learning Styles" Theory Is Bunk
Interesting article today in the Washington Post, where cognitive scientist, Daniel Willingham basically says the theory that students have different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) is irrelevant to how students actually learn. Basically, they learn better the things that appeal to them.

If this is true there are a lot of educators and educational systems going about their business in a less-than-perfect (or even efficient) way. And it would open lots of possibilities for learning and teaching digitally. Some kids are just fascinated by all things digital, and some aren't. I think that goes for adults too.
