Collaborative Drupal referrals
HASTAC is preparing to embark on another web site development journey. We're looking for developers to help us fix a few pressing problems here on hastac.org and are also looking ahead to make more fundamental changes later this year. We're committed to sticking with Drupal. It's a powerful and flexible platform, it's open source, and it's about get a lot more user-friendly when version 7 is released (hopefully some time this summer).
I've been maintaining my own list of Drupal developers for the past few years (left over from an old web development process) but I know there's more wisdom on this than can possibly fit in my address book, so I'm making an open invitation for folks to suggest people and companies that make great web sites with Drupal. And instead of hoarding your good ideas, I'm making the spreadsheet of suggestions public.
So check out the Google spreadsheet with our collected wisdom (pre-populated with my own list) and then use this form to add any that are missing. Thanks, and I hope others find this useful!

Request for proposals
I've now posted our RFP at http://www.hastac.org/drupal-web-dev-rfp and am reaching out the Drupal developers in the spreadsheet I linked to above. It's not too late to make recommendations, or just pass the RFP link on directly. Thanks!
New RFP coming soon
We ended up decicing not to do the short term web site fixes we had planned last Spring, but are now about to release a request for proposals for a complete redevelopment of this web site! It's going to still be based on Drupal, so we're still looking for vendors so we can invite them to give us proposals for this project.
Please add your suggestions at http://is.gd/blS4p and look for the RFP later this week. Thanks!
