UPDATE: The downtime has been postponed to Thursday.

As many of you know, this web site is a work in progress. This summer we relaunched with a major redesign and functional upgrade from our previous site.  However, there remain many serious kinks to work out. We have been working with a great team at Duke Web Services to improve the performance (ie: speed and reliability) of the site as well as address some urgent functional problems. 

On Tuesday morning, they plan to roll out their improvements.  To ensure that we (and you) don't lose any content, we will be freezing the site (you will still be able to view it, but not edit or add anything) and there may also be a brief period in which the site is totally unavailable.  This should go no later than 1:00 pm EST. 

We appreciate your patience, support, and feedback as we continue to learn and evolve before your eyes!

If you are logged in, you may be able to see the site's content but should not be able to add or edit anything.

Aaaand we're back

You may not notice anything different, other than the site being much faster, but there are a few other changes, and probably some kinks to work out.
