“The White Racial Frame: Theory and Research”

We are extremely honored to have former ASA President Prof. Joe Feagin
speaking in the race workshop on March 16th.  Professor Feagin is
currently Ella C. McFadden Professor of Sociology at the University of
Texas A&M.  Professor feagins work is ubiquitous and throughout his
distinguished career he has published over 50 books and numerous
articles or race and gender.  Professor Feagin’s work focuses on the
systemic nature of racism in the U.S. Professor Feagin has also been
an active public sociologist, working with anti-racist organizations
and blogging at racismreview.com
