Five PhD fellowships at the Danish School of Education

The Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, Denmark invites highly qualified applicants to apply for five three-year PhD fellowships commencing 1 September, 2010, or as soon as possible thereafter.

 

The fellowships are funded by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation. Since the fellowships are mobility fellowships, graduates from Aarhus University are not eligible for these fellowships.

The PhD students will be enrolled in the Doctoral School of Educational Research at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University. The projects will be allocated in part to the Research Programme in Diversity and Learning and eXbus: Exploring Bullying in School, Department of Learning - and in part to the Research Programme in Youth and Transition and CeFU: The Danish Centre for Youth Research, Department of Education.

The topics of the PhD projects are: A. Gender, computer games and bullying among children B. Forms of intervention against bullying at school C. Bullying practices and learning opportunities D. Teaching and learning in vocational education and training from a student's perspective E. The role of the body in the creation of virtual communities
