Humanities Labs Open House
Date: Monday, March 28, 2011 - 5:15pm - 6:45pm
Location: FHI Garage & Labs (C105, C106, B189)
** Please note new time **

Come to this open house at the Franklin Humanities Institute's Smith Warehouse headquarters and find out just what a humanities lab is (some hints in this Duke Chronicle article) - and how you can get involved. All undergraduates welcome, regardless of majors.
There will be a "lightning round" of introductions by Lab faculty at 5:30, with opportunities to meet and mingle with faculty and other students before and after.
Opportunities in the Humanities Labs
- Participate in a Lab-related DukeEngage project
- Develop a group or individual Independent Study project
- Form personal relationships with professors
The FHI Humanities Labs are:
- BorderWork(s) (starting Fall 2011)
- GreaterThanGames (starting Fall 2011)
- Haiti Lab (active now - find the Lab on Facebook and Twitter)
