I’ve been teaching history at Mott Community College since Fall of 2006. Previously I taught history and philosophy at Olney Central College in Olney, Illinois.
My BA in history is from Hanover College and my MA in history, with a concentration in US History is from Indiana University at Indianapolis. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Studies degree in American Culture at the University of Michigan at Flint.
My research (when I do research) focuses on American UFO belief during and after the Cold War--particularly extraterrestrial contact narratives.
My teaching interests are fairly varied--Medieval Europe, the American 1950s, The Great War, broad themes of invasion and conquest, and other topics.
