Kevin Driscoll is a PhD student in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at University of Southern California. Before coming to LA, Kevin lived in Boston where he completed an M.S. in Comparative Media Studies at MIT and taught math and computer science at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School. His recent research addresses the historicization of internet protocols, the ethnographic experience of writing software, and the technical history of hip-hop mixtapes. Kevin is also a member of the Students for Free Culture board of directors.
