Position: PhD Candidate and Instructor
Brief Bio: Early American Historian at Northwestern University. As a historian who works with material culture and architecture, I am very interested in the application of new digital media for both scholarship and teaching. My particular specialty is 3D modeling and animation, but I am very interested in all ventures into the new world of the digital humanities. In addition to presentations at digital humanities conferences at British Computing Society and the University of Chicago, I have twice won summer stipends from NU for digital history work. I also have taught a course on 3D animation, and will lead another this fall on historical documentary production.
