I'm John Sherrill, and I’m a senior undergrad in Michigan Technological University’s Scientific & Technical Communication program. My research interests broadly cover digital media, rhetoric, technical communication, and usability. I’m also interested in procedural rhetoric and code/CCS. Currently, I'm working on a project that investigates how cultural ideologies and assumptions about users impact the usability of a digital interface, as well as how users attempt to re-articulate their cultural identities by redesigning the interface and offering feedback to developers. In addition to being a student/researcher, I'm a reader, writer, photographer, gamer, cook, and angler.
