Brief Bio: Patrick Oathout is a sophomore at Duke University studying Philosophy and Public Policy with a certificate in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He has served as a senator for Duke’s Student Government, is a student representative on Duke's Board of Trustees, and is the Treasurer for Duke Refugee Aid and Blue Devils United. Patrick is a member of Duke Debate, Duke Sailing, and Duke Moot Court, and is also a Founding Father of Duke's Sigma Pi Fraternity. Patrick has interned for refugee resettlement organizations in Washington, D.C. and North Carolina. In 2009, Patrick served as a Student Board Member for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch. Additionally, Patrick has placed nationally and in the State of Texas in Impromptu Speaking and Student Congress.
