I served as a HASTAC Scholar during 2009-2010, when I was at the University of Washington. My 2011 dissertation treated individual identity and the social welfare state in contemporary Danish and Swedish literature. I worked for a number of years as the Webmaster for the UW's Humanities Center.
During 2010-2011 I was a post-doc at UCLA working on a Google Digital Humanities Grant to text-mine volumes in the Google Books corpus.
I am now responsible for Humanities Research Computing at the University of Chicago.
